Dr Erise Mary Mbunui Dinga is a different person to different groups of people. An entrepreneur to some, a mother to others, a consultant, a preacher, a philanthropist and more. In the mainstream, the trained preacher is known for her achievements as Founder and President of Emmi Empire Incorporated, a multidimensional structure that is breaking grounds in promoting leadership and youth empowerment nationally and globally.
Under Dr Erise Dinga’s guidance, Emmi Empire has since its creation close to a decade ago, become one of the most renowned institutions due to its strides in training and mentoring youth and underprivileged single mothers in Cameroon, the United States of America, the United Arabs Emirates, South Africa and other parts of the world. As a one-time single mother herself, Dr Erise Dinga has a special interest in the wellbeing of single mothers. She has through Emmi Empire, introduced and executed several projects designed to provide sustainable economic empowerment for mothers particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship.
The programs have empowered and enriched thousands of mothers in Cameroon and beyond thanks to result-oriented solutions provided to the beneficiaries by the entrepreneur and her team via funding, skills development and personal coaching.
Prioritizing youthful dynamism
Her projects have over the years, also contributed immensely in promoting the wellbeing of young persons in Cameroon and other parts of the world, notably through the EMMI Global Leadership Institute which she created in 2021 for that purpose. The renown multitalented consultant and her team have via such schemes, contributed in building the Cameroonian society by directly targeting and empowering young people with tools and technical skills capable of equipping them with capacities required to drive progress within their various families and general communities.
The writer and entrepreneur who runs several businesses in Cameroon and beyond, have organized several capacity-building workshops in the country and outside the nation’s national borders. In February last year, she and her group organized a crowd-pulling summit in Douala in the Littoral Region of Cameroon, bringing together young persons in the country and changemakers in their respective industries including those in the areas of sciences and technologies and the media.
In November last year, the acclaimed global youth ambassador also held the EMMI Global Business Summit and Award in Yaounde in the Center Region. The state-recognized platform provided young entrepreneurs, business changemakers and tycoons an opportunity to strategize on how to better develop their respective projects. It also recognized youth who have been able swim through the dark unpredictability waters of entrepreneurship in the business world and sailed through to emerge as examples to the younger generation.
Championing education for all
Besides investing heavily in women’s wellbeing and those of older youth, Dr Erise Dinga and her team also pump in time and resources in championing projects designed to cater for the interest of much younger generations especially those in schools. That, per her associates and supporters, is the reason why the former student of the University of Yaounde I created the Bajude Nursery and Primary School in the Mezam Division of the North West Region in 2016 to facilitate access to formal education.
Through the school initiative, she also introduced an orphanage in a bid to provide proper security to young learners and other underserved groups of persons in the main beneficiary community of the project and beyond.
Multifaceted, God-fearing philanthropist
Besides being a philanthropist, Dr Erise Dinga is also a trained preacher, an author, a nonprofit consultant, a mindset coach and an ambassador. The multitasking and engagement have enabled Dr Erise Dinga to create impact in several other fields outside her major areas of venture as the Founder and President of Emmi Empire Incorporated and an entrepreneur that runs multiple businesses in Cameroon and beyond.
As an author, Dr Erise Dinga has published three top-selling books: Bride of Christ, My identity and Millenial leadership Manual. All three pieces are coined to inspire readers in Christianity and entrepreneurship. She is also the editor-in-chief of EMMI Magazine Africa, a magazine that portrays Africa as an attractive business destination. As a nonprofit consultant, she provides unpaid consultancy services to hundreds of companies and institutions globally especially structures dedicated to promoting the wellbeing of populations especially vulnerable and underserved persons.
Partnering with state to drive change
Dr Erise Dinga is also an ambassador to Youth Connekt, an initiative led by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education. The project helps connect youth with opportunities and boosts their full inclusion in politics. Over the years, Dr Erise Dinga have repeatedly been questioned on her ever-growing success in the various initiatives that she has launched, spearheaded or supported. Her answer each time that is brought up is that she believes in Jesus Christ who opens doors for her.
The entrepreneur is a trained pastor and Founder of Real Worship and Gospel International Center where faith is preached as an ally of hard work and success. As part of that believe, she has organized numerous evangelical schemes through her ministry including in the United States of America, Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
Rich recognition
Dr Erise Dinga holds a Masters’ Degree in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Psychology obtained at the University of Yaounde I. She holds PhDs obtained from the Legacy University and Theological Seminary and Global Overdey University. She has won dozens of awards in Cameroon and beyond.
