Cameroon’s secondary education boss, Minister Nalova Lyonga expressed her ministry’s commitment to strengthening ties with Tunisia during a meeting with Tunisian representatives at the opening of the 5th edition of the Open Days of the Private Higher Education and Vocational Training in held at the Tunisian Embassy in Yaounde.
The government of Cameroon has partnered with its counterpart of Tunisia to boost the secondary education sector in Cameroon. The partnership was arrived at during the opening of the 5th edition of the Open Days of Private Higher Education and Vocational Training in Tunisia held at the Tunisian Embassy in Yaounde on Monday February 17.
Before the event at the Tunisian Embassy in Yaoundé, Minister Nalova Lyonga had earlier met with Tunisian officials on February 6 this year. The delegation which was led by the Chargé d’Affaires of the Tunisian Embassy in Cameroon, His Excellency Mohamed Amine Ameur, held discussions designed to foster a mutually beneficial partnership. Speaking at the opening of the event, the Minister emphasized that this collaboration aims to learn from Tunisia’s experience in the education sector.
She highlighted the potential for adopting successful strategies and approaches that could benefit Cameroonian secondary education.
